OPERATION FRONT YARD FLAGS
OSS desires to welcome home and honor our men and women of the military. Operation Front Yard Flags is a mission to be completed in secret, under the cover of night, to create a surprise effect! Many small flags are placed in the recipient's front yard with special notes of encouragement and thanks attached to each flag.
If you are aware of a military member who will be returning home on leave or for good, contact OSS with the following information:
- Name of returning soldier
- Approximate date of arrival
- Address for flags to be placed
- Your name and contact information
We need helping hands with Operation Front Yard Flags. This operation entails: writing notes of encouragement, attaching them to the flags that we provide, and putting the flags into the recipients front yards.
